National Award Recognition

Congratulations to Brad Betts for winning a Merit Award for “Drying Sails, Camden Harbor”. This juried award was granted by two renowned national institutions, the American Society of Marine Artists and the National Maritime Historical Society. Brad’s painting was recognized for its exceptional artistic merit and creative expression.

The painting is part of the online exhibition and sale, ART OF THE SEA, running from June 1 to July 30, 2026. This exhibition is a collaboration of the National Maritime Historical Society and the American Society of Marine Artists.

ASMA 18th National Exhibition

“Return of the Fleet” a 9”x12” original oil painting by Brad Betts, has been juried into the American Society of Marine Artists 18th National Exhibition. The tour begins March 2020 at Jamestown Settlement Museum, the kickoff to an 18-month museum tour that will cross the country. The exhibition concludes in September 2021.
